Niksar Australia was commissioned by BAe Systems to design and build two test sets to evaluate
the performance of key high power amplifier elements in the Hart's Range
transmitter site as part of the Commonwealth's continuous improvement
program for its long range radar system. The National Instruments' PXI-based
solution involved virtual instrumentation where traditional general purpose
instrumentation was originally being considered. The outcome is a flexible,
compact and less expensive solution for BAe Systems.
